The Entry Road:
After securely locking the gate behind you,
you will embark on the entry road to Zaca Lake, which
is a paved five-mile stretch of road that crosses through
five creek beds, including two which normally have water
flowing through them. These creeks are navigable with virtually
any vehicle when heavy rain is not an issue. The road is
steep and winding, so please watch your speed and keep an
eye out for exiting traffic, or wildlife such as catle, deer,
fox, polecat or racoon. On arrival to the retreat complex,
please promptly register with the office, located on the
far side of the lodge from the entry road.
