Zaca Charitable Foundation Mission Statement

Zaca Charitable Foundation is a non-profit public benefit corporation and is not organized for the private gain of any person.

It is organized under the non-profit public benefit corporation law for public and charitable purposes.

The specific purposes for which the corporation is organized are to operate a non-profit organization for the conduct of workshops and lectures to instruct the public on the development of human potential and spiritual well being, to establish and maintain a center for research into and the practice of alternative ways of preventing and treating physical and mental ailments, to make available to a cross section of the population new approaches through spiritual development, and to reclaim, preserve, conserve ,and enhance the environment and ecosystem of Zaca Lake for the benefit of the public.

The foundation is organized and operated exclusively for religious, charitable, educational and/or scientific purposes within the meaning of section 501C(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended.

The foundation shall not be operated for the purpose of carrying on trade or business for profit.

Zaca Charitable Foundations's sole source of revenue to maintain and operate Zaca Lake is derived from the public donations for the use of cabins and facilities.
